When I first launched NoireCare it was well received and several people shot me emails of support one of which was Kimya who I later chatted it up with on the phone. We had such a good soulful energy filled convo going on that we knew we had to work on something together. Kimya will be contributing on the site so get to know a little more about her below.

Age: 39
Noire Care Practice: Relaxing in silence and focusing on resting my mind. Taking care of my body (eating healthy, exercising, self-cleansing). Meditating and praying. I also love second-hand, consignment, and vintage clothes. I enjoy finding hidden treasures. And when my mind wants to do some writing, I write about social causes that interest me. A healthy self can contribute to a healthy society and healthy world.
How long have you been practicing: 11 years
How did you get started? Learning to listen to my own likes and dislikes. But my family and friends are also quite invested in self-care. We all believe in being alone when we want to be alone and finding what makes us happy and fulfilled. How can beginners get started: This can be difficult because none of us are perfect. It takes time and patience. But this is low cost and requires knowing our own minds and what we like and dislike. As humans we are taught to follow what our family teaches and to follow morals and laws. This is appropriate but it should never be cultish as though we are blindly following and never leading. We need to be happy and simply being a follower is not a sign of happiness. I truly believe most humans do not know their own likes and dislikes and what they want to accomplish in life. Most humans are simply following the “life script” and doing what they have been taught to do or feel obligated to do.
