By the time you read this we will be under a new regime and before you let the blues over come you stop for a second and high five somebody and revel in the fact that Our President made it out alive. Now you know the fear of his death weighed heavier on you than even the possibility of DT making it into office these past eight years. Our President is way more powerful out of office than he ever was “with all the power.”
The revolution is here and its time to resist. The best act of revolution is to be cared for enough to engage.
This is undoubtedly another raced base trauma that we have to endure and for those that need some ideas of what to do on a day like today, read this because it is necessary to find joy and keep on living despite the hurt.

Keep exercising, meditating, journaling, and eating right it will keep you in the fight.
Keep painting, writing, teaching, learning, drawing, and creating because it is necessary for the fight.
Let’s keep nurturing doctors, lawyers, community organizers, dance instructors, chefs, doulas, and artists because we have everything we need. We collectively as a community are what we need. All we got is us and that’s how it has always been.
Let us build and grow, make the calls do the work, share more love and simply live out loud. Our very act of staying alive, the very act of living is revolutionary in itself.
