Happy New Year! Late but still from the heart. In December through the craze of preparing for the holiday and finishing up work before the close of the year my hosting service went down and then expired and I missed it all. I totally lost the entire NoireCare site. I didn’t have an entire backup as I always do, ugh! So I had to work to rebuild from files and it almost wasn’t worth the hassle until I thought about what the joy mixed with uncertainty that the New Year was going to bring for us all. While the internet has amplified our stories and in several cases has even made mainstream media jump onboard and offer varying perspectives through script there is room and a need for more and we were doing just that.
Its revolutionary AF to care for your self and your community and we need ideas, resources and examples to do this.
So I fought off the desire to just say its a wrap because I didn’t feel like doing the work and I rebuilt it. I do have some great ideas and stories to share in the near future. Please continue to share and ride this out with me and lets see how we can build community that is geared toward care practices that arm us for the revolution. The administration is changing and that has many of us shook on top of life having its series of ups and downs. We need each other. We need examples of taking time out, challenging ourselves, growing and committing to loving ourselves better so that we can create the change we want to see. It starts with us. Its revolutionary AF to care for yourself and your community and we need ideas, resources and examples to do this. If NoireCare is that for just one of you, it was totally worth rebuilding the site.
The New Year will have the site experimenting with new features, products and storytelling. We will also work to create events that allow us to share offline and build together. Is there anything you would like to see here this year?
