This has been an emotionally draining week for many of us. It also marked the beginning of Fall which ushers in a new season and the hopes and possibilities that come with change. With all the hurt that has enveloped us this week there have been some great things to celebrate and read up on as well.

- The Homie, Luvvie Ajaye becomes a NY Times bestselling author a week after her book “I’m Judging You”, dropped. If you haven’t copped your copy get in on it. This will be my weekend reading.
2. #1000blackgirlsbooks Marley has partnered and launched a teen zine with Elle magazine. How dope is this??? Check out Marley Mag here
3. One of my favorite illustrators who also happens to be a friend, Andrea Pippins created a Doodle Sheet to guide you in creating a social awareness campaign. You can download it here.
4. My favorite self-proclaimed Unicorn, Bozoma St. John graces the cover of Fortune Mag as one of their 40 Under 40
